A native of Savannah, Dr. Forrest Estes is board certified in Obesity Medicine, Clinical Lipidology, and Emergency Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the Medical College of Georgia.

Dr. Estes' current practice focuses on the reversal of metabolic dysfunction through practical, personalized, evidence-based care. He previously served as the Lead Medical Investigator for WeightWatchers International, and his research has been published in The Obesity Journal.
